Step by step

How to do the Cable Front Raise

  1. Attach a single handle to a low cable pulley. Stand facing away from the stack with the cable between your legs or to one side.
  2. Hold the handle at your thigh with palm facing your body. Brace your core and stand tall.
  3. Keep a slight bend in your elbow and raise the handle forward and up until your arm is parallel to the floor.
  4. Pause at shoulder height, then lower under control without letting the weight pull your shoulder forward.
  5. Complete all reps on one side, then switch arms and repeat.
