Step by step

How to do the Dumbbell Walking Lunge

  1. Stand tall with a dumbbell in each hand at your sides.
  2. Take a long controlled step forward with one leg and lower into a lunge.
  3. Keep your front knee over your mid-foot and torso upright as you descend.
  4. Drive through the front foot to stand and bring the back foot forward into the next step.
  5. Continue alternating legs as you walk the length of the floor or set distance.
  6. Turn and walk back, or stop at the end and reset your stance for the next set.
